Prawn Masala


for frying prawns
Cleaned Prawns : 250 gm
Chilly powder : 1/2 teaspoon
coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Ginger Garlic paste : 1/2 teaspoon ( 1:1 ratio)
Lemon juice : 1 teaspoon
salt: as required
Oil : 3 tbsp
for masala
Onion chopped : 1 no
Chilly powder : 1/2 teaspoon
coriander powder: 1/4 teaspoon
salt: as required
Ginger chopped : 1/2 tsp
Garlic chopped : 1/2 tsp
garam masala :1/4 tsp
Corn Flour : 2 teaspoon
warm Water : as required
tomato ketchup:2 tbsp
curry leaves:a few required
slice onion for garnish
How to Marinated prawns

mix lemon juice,salt,ginger garlic paste, Chilly powder, coriander, turmeric, and warm water,make a paste .Marinated Prawns with mixture for 10 mins.Marinated Prawns is ready to fry..


-Heat the oil in frying pan and fry the prawn till half done.after that take it out.

-In the same oil put Chopped onion ,Ginger and garlic Chopped saute for 1 min , after that put Chilly powder, coriander powder saute for seconds.

-add the fried prawn,mix well .

-add garam masala,and tomato ketchup,mix well .cook for 1 min

-finally add little water with corn flour and cook for 1 min .off the flame. garnish with slice onion and serve hot,

  • Prawns masala is ready.
