RED SEER FISH CURRY
INGREDIENTS
seer fish :2 no(250 g)
chilly powder :1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
coriander powder:1/2 tsp
fish masala powder:3 tsp
garlic paste:1 tsp
tomato:2 no
small onion(shallots) :7 no
kudam puli (Gambooge) :2 pieces
curry leaves:a few
water :as required
salt :as required
coconut oil:1 tbsp
cherry tomato for garnish
METHOD
-clean the fish .wash with salt water. cut into pieces.
-mix all the ingredients like chilly powder,Turmeric powder,fish masala powder,coriander powder, ginger paste,a little water,salt.
-make a thick paste.rub on both sides of the fish.keep it aside for 2 to 5 min.
-heat oil in non stick frying pan .add chopped small onion(shallots),curry leaves,tomato chopped,salt saute for 5 min.then put marinated fish .fry the fish for 2 to 3 min in low flame.
finally add water and kudam puli (Gambooge),mix well.cook for 5 to 7 min.cover it with a lid.stir occasionally.
-RED SEER FISH CURRY is ready.
