INGREDIENTS
Kakka irachi/ Clams rosted
FOR cooking
kakka irachi/clams cleaned :500g
pepper powder :1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
ginger and garlic paste:1 tsp
water :as required
salt :as required

for masala
onion:2 no
ginger and garlic paste:2 tsp
tomato Chopped 2 no
chilly powder :1 tsp
coriander powder:11/2 tsp
gram masala:1/2 tsp
meat masala1/2 tsp
curry leaves:10 nos
coconut oil:3 tbsp
curry leaves,tomato for garnish
METHOD
-wash kakka irachi/clams with plenty of running water..wash with salt water.remove any dirt and grit and finally squeeze the clams to remove water.
for cooking
-mix all the ingredients like ,turmeric powder,pepper powder, ginger and garlic paste,a little water,salt.cook for 15 to 20 min in low flame .cover it with lid.stir occasionally. cook until all water is dried up.

for masala
-take another pan. put oil , Chopped onion ,Ginger and garlic paste saute for 3 min , put tomato chopped saute for 3 min.After that put Chilly powder, coriander powder,.meat masala saute for seconds and add curry leaves.add cooked kakka irachi/clams stir well for 2 min .add gram masala mix well .off gas.
garnish with curry leaves and tomato .

  • Kakka irachi/ Clams rosted ready.
    tip :finally 1 tsp oil is add on top for taste .
